Empowerment

I made a simple and powerful collage in art class. I chose this message because I want to Empower people; it's a part of my passion

The Background: Dirt-represents that not everything you see or want to will be clear and in order to see the clearing you have to sift through the dirt (struggles). The Bricks- represents a strong foundation of your ideas and the stability of your future endeavors you have set.
The Fist with writing: Represents strength- YOU have the power to conquer your stumbling blocks along your journey.
The Clock: Shows that empowering an individual or yourself takes time; be patient and enjoy each moment. Even if you are fighting a battle, take your experiences as a learning curve and know what to expect and do better next time.
The Book: Illustrates education. Empowerment develops through reading and understanding the ways of life and ideas from wise people; people who have been journeying for a while.
The Group picture: Displays a glimpse of me empowering young, under-privileged children how to ride bikes. Not only did I teach them how to ride bikes, I also empowered them through positive words and actions of kindness and gentleness.

Applying your knew and developed concepts to the real world conveys EMPOWERMENT.
